Katarina Witt was born on 3rd of December 1965 in Staaken, East Germany. While she is always looking for new challenges, Katarina Witt explores new areas of work and acquires knowledge in diverse areas such as production and figure skating. Katarina Witt ended her amateur career after 1988 World Championships. Within the next 3 years, she'll be performing in North America, and Canada her first professional tours along with Brian Boitano, the Calgary Olympic Champion as well as the Calgary Olympic Champion World Champion. This show is an enormous success and Madison Square Garden, New York has sold out an entire show of figure skating for the first time in the last ten years. The 3rd Olympic Games appearance in Lillehammer was in 1994. For 10 years, she toured the US and Canada in the form of shows such as "Stars on Ice", "Champions on Ice" as well as participated in several professional international competitions. With her production company WITH WITT, she's in charge for many international ice shows that are conceptualised, developed, headlined and filmed. This company has been a pioneer in the skate production field, producing programs as "Divas of Ice", "Katarina & Friends", Enjoy Stars and Winter Magic", for US TV and German Television.
